Skills assessment is a model of detection, analysis and classification of skills possessed by people, which is then associated to an empowerment program.

What is it for

Skills assessment has two advantages:

  1. It represents a useful instrument for a single individual to recognize and pin-point his/her assessed skills and capabilities, bringing them to light, classifying them, enhancing and favoring the development thereof, both aimed at making a career within the organization the individual works for and also for eventual outplacement.
  2. It is an important instrument for the organization (body, company, association) as it uncovers the personal qualities of its human resources, can place them in a classification system consistent with its own mission and its own organizational culture and can define in what manner and within what time frames these skills can be developed, also availing itself of role and duty description rotation within the organization (rotation & replacement).
